Important Tips and FAQs:
1. There are only 2 official sellers in Canada: HOSAFE and 7-HOME, please do not buy from other sellers, otherwise, you may not get HOSAFE Team After Sales Service.
2. “wireless” means it can connect to your router via WiFi, but it has to be plugged in the power adaptor to work, only this way can offer enough power for 24*7 recording and auto-tracking.
3. It is not allowed to extend the power adaptor DC cable, which will reduce the normal volt of the power adaptor, has to install a power outlet near the camera or extend the power outlet to the camera with an AC power extension cord.
4. Please set up the camera time zone to your local time zone once it is installed, otherwise you can not see the recordings from the sd card, because the recording time is not right.
Q: How many cameras could be added to the app, and can I use other apps?
A: The app could add and manage many cameras, must set upeach camera as brand new, then you can see them all in app device list,but you can only watch one camera live picture on the phone smallscreen, this camera only works with app Camhipro or Camhi, can not workon other apps for remote view, but because it is an ONVIF IP Camera, itcould work with ONVIF software/APP/NVR.
Q: How far is the WiFi distance?
A: Normally, the distance between the camera and WiFi routercould be about 100~150ft, but it also depends on how many walls/blocks,and if there are too much interference, so please test the wificonnection status before installing it. (take the camera to theinstallation position, connect to power and watch live video to test ifit is stable enough, you can also go to camera setting page to find wifimanagement page, the wifi signal strength should be more than 90%)
Q: How to make Floodlight work at night?
A: Open camera live view page on phone app, slide left twiceat the bottom, tap “Night Vision Mode” icon, you can see “Ordinary”,”Color” and “Intelligent”. “Ordinary” means only IR LED work,black/white picture at night; “Color” means only Flood Light work, colorpicture at night, “Intelligent” means Flood Light work when detectmotion, otherwise, only IR LED work, please select the best according toyour request.
Q: How to make Auto Tracking work?
A: Open camera live view page on phone app, slide left twiceat the bottom, tap “Intelligent Tracking” icon to turn on Auto Trackingfunction, please note there is a middle speed motor inside, it can nottrack very fast motion, and the camera will go back to original positionafter the moving object has left the tracking range.
Q: How to reduce false motion alarm?
A: The camera default motion sensitivity is 50, and detectmotion area is the whole picture, you can select a special area to avoidmoving leaves, moving cars, etc, and also adjust motion detection to belower.
