A regular leather chamois cannot absorb that much water and gets hard when it dries. The ShamWow towel soaks up ten times its weight in water, does not drip as you’re taking it to the sink, and stays soft when it dries.

ShamWow cloths won’t scratch any surface.

Am I able to dry sweaters with the ShamWow towel?

Yes. Place a wet sweater on the big ShamWow towel, roll the wet sweater tight and place an elastic tie around each end. It will dry sweaters in half of the time a towel can.
