This feeder’s innovative weight-activated exterior cage wraps protectively around the seed compartment. When a squirrel climbs onto the cage, the spring-loaded exterior cage drops down, throwing the squirrel off balance and lowering the ornamental leaves on the cage down into position where they effectively act as a barrier, covering the seed ports and preventing squirrels from pillaging the seed supply. Spread mulch (bark or wood) under the feeder, replace mulch when soiled.

Thoroughly wash hands after handling and cleaning feeders.
