400 Grit Stone: To remove any chips or nicks on the blade. Use for damaged knives or very dull knives.
1000 Grit Stone: To provide a greater degree of sharpening. Use for knives that lose sharpness.
3000 Grit Stone: To super fine processing for the knives’ surface. Use for worn knives that just not so sharp.
8000 Grit Stone: To better grinding the blade to make knives smooth and bright. Use for knives that need polishing.
NOTE:
- Please keep soaking the stone for 5~15 minutes to reach the best state. We do not suggest longer than 20 minutes.
- When finishing sharpening please wipe up the wooden base and place it in the ventilated place to make it dry.
- Glove or any protection is recommended when sharpening.
- Choose a dry, solid, stable and flat table top to place the wooden base and stone kit when sharpening.
- For better sharpening your knife please flatten the whetstone in time.
- Serrated blades and ceramic knives are not suitable for our sharpening stone kit.

Step 1: Soak the stone in water for at least 10 minutes till air bubbles are all out. |
Step 2: Insert stone into rubber base and then seat it in the bamboo base. |
Step 3: If your knife is very blunt, first sharpen it on the #400 edge with uniform force, and the angle is 10?? to 30??, then sharpen it with #1000 to make it sharpness. |
Step 4: Don’t scrape the slurry while sharpening. Lubricate with water to keep the stone wet. |

Step 5: Repeat step 3 and step 4 on the #1000 side until your knife achieves desired sharpness. Use #3000/#8000 side to provide extra fine polish on your blades. |
Step 6: Clean the stone and blade when done. Allow it to air dry completely. |
