How do you use the hydraSense NetiRinse?

1.Wash and rinse each piece of the device thoroughly with distilled water or previously boiled water. |
2.Next, prepare the saline solution. For daily nasal care, you??ll use one pre-measured salt packet. |
3.Pour the contents of one packet into your NetiRinse bottle. Fill the bottle with 240 mL or 8 ounces of room temperature distilled water or tap water that has been boiled for one minute and then cooled to room temperature. If these are not available, you can also use spring or mineral water. This will create an isotonic solution for rinsing. *For allergies use two salt packets. |
4.Fasten the nozzle to the collar with the tube correctly attached for squeeze mode. Screw the collar on to the bottle. Place one finger over the nozzle and shake to mix the solution until contents dissolve. |

5.Before using the solution, test the temperature by putting one drop on your wrist. It must be at room temperature. Do not use hot or cold water, as this may cause a burning sensation. |
6.Bend your head forward over a sink and tilt your head gently to the left. Place the nozzle in your right nostril while keeping your mouth slightly open. Do not hold your breath. |
7.For optimal nasal irrigation, it is recommended that you use half of the volume of the solution per nostril. |
8.When you??re finished, gently blow your nose. Then discard any unused solution. |
