- Good Design: The shear pins are designed to break to protect the auger from being damaged when encounters branches, thick ice, rocks etc.
- Notes?? Align a nail with the axis of the pin and then gently tap the part of the old pin that is stuck in the snow blower shaft with a nail and hammer and it comes out easily. You also need to make sure that the rotor hole is aligned so it aligns with the shaft.
